The UPCD will celebrate its 95th Foundation Day on Friday, February 5, 2010. This year’s celebration will be hosted by the Silver Jubilarians: Batch 1985. The UPDAA extends a special invitation to the other celebrating Jubilarians: Diamond ‘50; Golden ‘60; Ruby ‘70;and Coral ’75. Highlights of the program include scientific lectures from some members of the Class of 1985, musical numbers from the students with a special participation of some faculty members, and recognition ceremonies for the recent Board Examination passers. The celebrations will extend until the evening (5-10pm) and will feature a “Variety Show” organized by the UPCD Student Council. The program will showcase presentations from the students, faculty members and non-academic staff.
